Potted Christmas Stilton
The holidays bring back memories of warm gatherings and delicious food. A Potted Christmas Stilton is an easy-to-prepare and classic way to celebrate the good tidings of the year.
- 225g / 8oz Stilton cheese
- 75g / 3oz butter
- 7.5ml / 2tsp Port wine
- a pinch of ground mace
- a little melted butter to run over the top
1 Mash the STILTON with a fork. Beat the butter to a soft cream, then beat in the STILTON, mace and Port
2 Pack the mixture into an attractive jar or serving dish, smooth over the surface and run a little melted butter over the top as seal
3 Keep refrigerated until required. Serve as a dip with fresh bread or crackers.
