Stilton and Roasted Turkey Wraps

Created as part of our Stilton Over Manhattan celebration 2000, it's a great way to use Thanksgiving turkey or chicken leftovers.

Ingredients (for one wrap)

  • 40g/1and 1/2oz crumbled Stilton cheese, divided
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • Pinch ground ginger
  • 2 tablespoons pear jam or one-quarter of a small, ripe pear, peeled and mashed
  • 1 — 8” to 9” diameter flour tortilla
  • One-quarter of a small, ripe pear, unpeeled, thinly sliced
  • 75g/3oz cooked turkey, thinly sliced (or substitute with one-quarter of a cooked whole breast of chicken)
  • 110g/4oz fresh spinach leaves
  • Salt and pepper


1. In a bowl, mash 25g/1oz of Stilton with mayonnaise, ginger, and pear jam until well blended.

2. Spread this on one side of the tortilla.

3. Down the center of the tortilla lay a row of unpeeled, sliced pear. Top the pear with the turkey, then spinach leaves.

4. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.

5. Sprinkle with the remaining crumbled Stilton. Roll up securely.
